TractionPedal
Thetractionpedal(Figure11)has3functions:
tomakethemachinemoveforward,tomoveit
backward,andtostopthemachine.Pressthetop
ofthepedaltomoveforwardandthebottomofthe
pedaltomovebackwardortoassistinstoppingwhen
movingforward.Also,allowthepedaltomovetothe
neutralpositiontostopthemachine.Foryourcomfort,
donotrestthehealofyourfootonthereversepadof
thetractionpedalwhenyouaredrivingthemachine
forward.(Figure12).

Groundspeedsareasfollows:
•3.2to8km/h(2to5mph)forwardmowingspeed
•16km/h(10mph)maximumtransportspeed
•4.0km/h(2.5mph)reversespeed
Steering-Arm-LockingPedal
Pressthepedal(Figure11)andraiseorlowerthe
steeringarmforoperatorcomfort,then,releasethe
pedaltolockthearminplace.
ThrottleLever
Usethethrottlelever(Figure13)tocontrolthespeed
oftheengine.MovethethrottlelevertowardtheFAST
positiontoincreasestheenginespeed;moveittoward
theSLOWpositiontodecreasetheenginespeed.
Note:Youcannotstoptheengineusingthethrottle
lever.
