Ifthegroomerdriveassemblyisinstalledontheleftsideofthe
cuttingunit,thedrivepulleyhasleft-handthreads.Turnthedrive
pulleycounterclockwisetotighten.Ifthegroomerdriveassembly
isinstalledontherightsideofthecuttingunit,thedrivepulley
hasright-handthreads.Turnthedrivepulleyclockwisetotighten.
C.Restthehandleoftheprybaragainstthefrontrollerandtightenthedrive
pulleyfrom135to150N·m(100to110ft-lb).
12.Installthegroomerdrivebeltanddrivecover.
13.Ifequipped,installrearrollerbrushtocuttingunit;refertoServicingtheRear
RollerBrush(withorwithoutabeltdrivengroomerinChapter7–DPA
CuttingUnitinthismanual.
14.Checkandadjustcuttingunitheight-of-cutandgroomerheightsettings;
refertotheCuttingUnitOperatorsManualandtheGroomerInstallation
Instructions.
15.Lubricatethegroomerbearings;refertotheGroomerInstallationInstructions.
Note:Aftergreasingthegroomerbearings,operatethegroomerfor30
seconds,stopthemachineandwipeanyexcessgreasefromthegroomer
shaftandseals.
