thereelsareengaged(i.e.,whilemowing),the
brakewillnotengage.Thisfeatureallowsyouto
movetothezeropositionwhilemowingandpull
themachinerearwardtomakecoursecorrections.
Kickstand
Thekickstand(Figure27)ismountedontotherear
ofthemachineandisusedtoraisetherearofthe
machineforinstallationorremovalofthetransport
wheelsandtokeepthemachinefromfallingontothe
handlewhenyouremovethereel.
•Tousethekickstandtoinstallthetransportwheels,
lowerittothegroundandstepdownonthe
kickstandloopwhilepullingupandbackonthe
lowercentermachinehandle(Figure26).
Important:Onlyputfootpressuredownonthe
kickstandloop,andonlyusethelowercenter
machinehandletoraisetheunit.Attempting
toraisethemachineontothekickstandbyany
othermeanscancauseinjury.
