4.TotestthecircuitwiringandInfoCenterfuelgauge,useajumperwireto
connectthe2terminalsinthewireharnessconnector.Ensurethatthe
jumperwireconnectionsaresecure.
5.TurnthekeyswitchtotheRUNposition.TheInfoCenterdisplayshould
indicateafullfueltankifthecircuitwiringandInfoCenterareworking
correctly.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandcontinuetestingfuel
senderifthecircuitwiringandInfoCenterareacceptable.
6.Loosenthehoseclampsandcarefullydisconnectthefuelsupplyandreturn
hosesfromthettingsonthetopofthefuelsender.

IMPORTANT
Beforeremovingthefuelsenderfromthetank,notetheorientation
ofthefuelsenderttingsforassemblypurposes(Figure272).
7.Carefullyremovethefuelsendercapthatsecuresthefuelsenderinthe
fueltank.
8.Liftthefuelsenderandsendergasketfromthefueltank.Cleanallthefuel
fromthesender.
CAUTION
Ensurethatthefuelsenderiscompletelydry(nofuelonit)beforethe
testing.Performthetestawayfromthetanktopreventanexplosion
orrefromsparks.
