LiftCircuit(5410/5410-D/5510/5510-D/5610)
A4-sectiongearpumpiscoupledtothepiston(traction)pump.Gearpump
section(P4)supplieshydraulicowtotheliftcontrolmanifoldandultimatelyfor
theliftcylinders.Thegearpumptakesitssuctionfromthehydraulicreservoir.
Liftcircuitpressureislimitedto13,800kPa(2,000psi)byasolenoidreliefvalve
(SVRV)locatedintheliftcontrolmanifold.
Theliftcontrolmanifoldincludes4electricallyoperatedsolenoidvalves.Valve
(SVRV)isusedtodirectgearpumpowtotheliftcylinderswhenenergizedor
bypasspumpowbacktothereservoirwhende-energized.Valve(SV2)isused
todirectuidowtoretracttheliftcylinderswhenenergizedorextendthem
whende-energized.Valve(SV1)allowshydraulicowtothefrontliftcylinders
whenenergized.Valve(SV3)allowshydraulicowtotherearliftcylinders
whenenergized.
LiftcircuitpressurecanbemonitoredatliftcontrolmanifoldportG4.
TheToroElectronicController(TEC)usesinputsfromvariousmachineswitches
todeterminewhenliftmanifoldsolenoidvalves(SV1,SV2,SV3,andSVRV)
aretobeenergized.TheTECalsoprovidesapartialraisepositionofthefront
outsidecuttingunits.
Duringconditionsofnotraisingorloweringthecuttingunits(joystickinthe
neutral(center)position),all4liftmanifoldsolenoidvalves(SV1,SV2,SV3,and
SVRV)arede-energized.Hydraulicowfromgearpumpsection(P4)by-passes
theliftcylinderstotheoilcoolerandthentothehydraulicreservoir.
RaisetheCuttingUnits
Whenthejoystickismovedtotheraisepositionwiththeenginerunning,solenoid
valve(SVRV)energizesalongwithsolenoidvalves(SV1),(SV2),and(SV3).
TheenergizedsolenoidvalvesdirectgearpumpsectionP4uidowtotherod
endoftheliftcylinders.Hydraulicpressureagainsttherodsideofthecylinders
causestheshaftstoretract,andraisesthecuttingunits.Fixedoricesinthelift
controlmanifold(C1L,C4L,C5L,andC23L)controltheliftingspeedbyproviding
arestrictionforthereturnowfromtheliftcylinders.
Whenthejoystickisreturnedtotheneutral(center)position,thesolenoidvalves
arede-energizedandtheliftcylinders(andcuttingunits)areheldintheraised
position.Pilotedcheckvalvesintheliftcontrolmanifold(CV1,CV4,CV5,and
CV23)preventtheliftcylinders(andcuttingunits)fromdroppingaftertheyhave
beenraised.
