32.Discardallgasketsthatwereremoved(items1and15inFigure31).
Note:TheexhaustsystemDPFandDOCcanberemovedfromtheexhaust
systemwithoutremovingtheentireexhaustsystemfromtheengine.Referto
theYanmarEngineServiceManualforcompletedisassemblyandassembly
procedures.
InstallingtheExhaustSystem
Note:Ensurethatallexhaustsystemangesandsealingsurfacesarefreeof
debrisordamagethatmaypreventatightseal.
1.Ensuretoinstallnewgasketsinplaceofallgasketsthatwereremoved.Do
notuseanytypeofgasketsealantongasketorangesurfaces.
2.Assembleallexhaustsystemcomponentsthatwereremoved(Figure31
andFigure32).
A.Ifexhaustsensors(items7and8inFigure31)wereremoved,torquethe
sensorsto25to40N∙m(19to29ft-lb).
B.Ifexhaustpressurepipes(items26and28inFigure31)wereremoved,
replacethesensorgasketsonbothsidesofthepressurepipetting.
C.Adjustthemuferguardonframesothereis9.5mm(3/8inch)clearance
betweentheexhausttubeandtheguardinalldirections.Ensurethat
therearcuttingunitsandliftarmsdonotcontactexhausttubewhen
thecuttingunitsarefullyraised.
3.Lowerthehoodandsecureitwiththelatches.
