Adjustments
CAUTION
Donotworkonthegroomerwiththeenginerunning.
Alwaysshutofftheengine,removethekeyfromthekeyswitch,
andwaitforallmachinemovementtostopbeforeworkingonthe
groomer.
Note:TheInstallationInstructionsforthegroomerhasdetailedinformation
regardingassemblyandadjustment.UsethoseInstructionsalongwiththis
ServiceManualwhenservicingthegroomer.
AdjustingtheHeight/DepthoftheGroomer
Note:Groomingisperformedabovethesoillevel.Whenadjustingthegroomer
height/depth,thegroomerbladesshouldnotpenetratethesoil.
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,and
removethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Ensurethattherollersarecleanandthecuttingunitissettothedesired
height-of-cut;refertotheCuttingUnitOperatorsManual.

4.Ononeendofthegroomerreel,measurethedistancefromthelowesttipof
thegroomerbladetotheworkingsurface.Turnthegroomerheightadjuster
toraiseorlowerthegroomerbladetiptothedesiredheight(Figure378).
