9.Fillthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulicuid.
10.Primethehydraulicpumps;refertoPrimingtheHydraulicPumps(page
6–146).
11.Starttheengineandoperateitatlow-idlespeedforaminimumof2minutes.
Increasetheenginespeedtohighidleforaminimumof1minuteunder
noload.
12.Raiseandlowerthecuttingunitsseveraltimes.Turnthesteeringwheelfully
leftandrightseveraltimes.
13.Withthecuttingunitsfullyloweredandtheoperatorseatoccupied,engage
thecuttingunitsandletthemrunforseveralminutes.Disengagethecutting
units.
14.Shutofftheengineandcheckforhydraulic-uidleaks.
Note:Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrect
quantityofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperatorsManual.
15.Operatethemachinefor2hoursundernormaloperatingconditions.
16.Checktheconditionofhydraulicuid.Ifnewuidshowsanysignsof
contamination,repeatsteps1through15againuntiltheuidisclean.
17.Whenthehydraulicuidisfreefromcontamination,assumenormaloperation
andfollowtherecommendedmaintenanceintervals.
FilteringtheClosed-LoopTractionCircuit
Filteringaclosed-loophydraulicsystemafteramajorcomponentfailure(e.g.,
traction(piston)pumporwheelmotor)isnecessarytopreventunwantedmaterial
fromtransmittingthroughoutthesystem.Ifaclosed-loophydraulicsystem
lteringtoolisnotusedtoensurethesystemcleanliness,repeatfailures,aswell
assubsequentdamagetootherhydrauliccomponentsintheaffectedsystem,
willoccur.T oeffectivelyremovethecontaminationfromtheclosed-looptraction
circuit,usetheTorohighowhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekits(referto
SpecialT ools(page6–44)).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoftheengine,andremovethekey
fromthekeyswitch.
IMPORTANT
Beforeliftingthemachinewithajack,reviewandfollowJacking
Instructions(page1–6).
2.Liftandsupportthemachinesothatallthewheelsareofftheground.
Note:Ifthewheelmotorwasreplaced,installahigh-owltertotheinletof
thenewmotorinsteadoftothetractionpumptting.Thiswillpreventsystem
contaminationfromenteringanddamagingthenewwheelmotor.
