TestProcedure
1.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineforatleast10minutes.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfacewiththereelengageswitchoff,lower
thecuttingunits,shutofftheengine,setthemowspeedlimitertotheMOW
position,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Ensurethatthemow/backlapleveronthemowcontrolmanifoldisinthe
MOWposition.
4.ReadallWarning,Cautions,andprecautionslistedatthebeginningofthis
section.

5.Fortestingtherearmowcircuit,removethecapfromthetestttingatmow
controlmanifoldport(G1)andinstallapressuregaugewithhydraulichoseto
thetesttting(Figure123).Iftestingthefrontmowcircuit,removethecap
fromthetestttingatmowcontrolmanifoldport(G2)andinstallapressure
gaugewithhydraulichosetothetesttting.
CAUTION
Keepawayfromthecuttingunitsduringtesttopreventpersonal
injuryfromthecuttingreelblades.
6.Sitintheoperator’sseat,starttheengine,andpresstheenginespeedswitch
tofullspeed(3,005to3,055rpm)position.UsetheInfoCentertocheckthat
theenginespeediscorrect.
7.Engagethecuttingunits.Whenengaged,thecuttingcircuitpressuremay
exceedmanifoldreliefvalvepressuresettingof24,100kPa(3,500psi)for
frontmowcircuitand17,500kPa(2,500psi)forrearmowcircuitmomentarily
openingthereliefvalve.Thecircuitpressureshouldthenstabilizeat
approximately8,274kPa(1,200psi).
8.Safelysecurethetestpressuregaugeandoperatethemachineunderyour
specicmowingconditions.Monitorthetestgaugewhilemowing.The
cuttingunitcircuitpressureshouldbeapproximately:10,340to13,800kPa
(1,500to2,000psi)underlowtonormalloadconditions.
