CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,operateallthehydraulic
controlstoreleasesystempressureandavoidinjuryfromthe
pressurizedhydraulicuid;refertoReleasingPressurefromthe
HydraulicSystem(page6–8).

2.Cleanthejunctionofthehydraulichoseandrightsideelbowttingonthe
bottomofthetractionpump.Disconnectthehydraulichosefromtheright
sideofthepumptting(Figure117).
IMPORTANT
Ensurethattheuidowindicatorarrowontheowmeteris
showingthattheuidwillowfromthepump,throughthetester,
andintothedisconnectedhydraulichose.
3.Installatesterwithpressuregaugeandowmeterinseriesbetweenthe
tractionpumpanddisconnectedhydraulichose.Ensurethattheowcontrol
valveonthetesterisfullyopen.
4.Disconnectboththehydrauliclinesfromeachrearwheelmotor,then
connectthelinestoeachother.Plugtheportsinwheelmotorstoprevent
contamination.
5.Blockthefrontwheelswithchockstopreventwheelrotation.
6.Withtheenginerunning,presstheenginespeedswitchtofullspeed(3,005
to3,055rpm)position.UsetheInfoCentertocheckthattheenginespeedis
correct.
