TheReelmasterhydrauliccontrolmanifoldsuseseveralhydraulicsolenoidvalve
coilsforsystemcontrol.Themowcontrolmanifoldincludes2solenoidvalves
(Figure265)andtheliftcontrolmanifoldincludes4solenoidvalves(Figure266).
Whenthesolenoidcoilsareenergized,thehydraulicvalveshiftoccurstocontrol
thehydraulicuidow.Thecorrectresistanceofacoilcanbeidentiedby
measuringtheheightanddiameterofthecoil(Figure264).RefertoSolenoid
ValveCoilSpecicationsT able(page7–97).T estingofthecoilscanbedone
withthecoilinstalledonthehydraulicvalve.
Note:The2solenoidvalvecoilsonthemowcontrolmanifold(MSV1andMSV2)
areidentical.ThesolenoidvalvecoilsSV2andSVRVontheliftcontrolmanifold
areidenticalandarethesameasthoseusedonthemowcontrolmanifold.The
remaining2liftcontrolmanifoldcoils(SV1andSV3)areidentical.Toassistin
troubleshooting,identicalcoilscanbeexchanged.Iftheproblemfollowsthe
exchangedcoil,anelectricalproblemlikelyexistswiththecoil.Iftheproblem
remainsunchanged,somethingotherthanthesolenoidcoilistheproblem
source(e.g.,switch,circuitwiring,andhydraulicproblem).
