Troubleshooting
CAUTION
Removeallthejewelry,especiallyringsandwatches,beforedoing
anyelectricaltroubleshootingortesting.Disconnectthebattery
cablesunlessthetestrequiresbatteryvoltage.
Fortheeffectivetroubleshootingandrepairs,youmusthaveagood
understandingoftheelectricalcircuitsandcomponentsthatareusedonthis
machine;refertotheElectricalSchematicandWireHarnessDrawings/Diagrams
inAppendixA(pageA–1).
Ifthemachinehasanyinterlockswitchesthatarebypassed,connectthe
switchesforthecorrecttroubleshootingandsafety.
Note:UsetheInfoCenterdisplaywhentroubleshootingaReelmasterelectrical
problem.
OperatorAdvisories
Ifcontrolsarenotselectedproperlytoallowcertainmachineoperations,the
InfoCenterindicatorlightwillilluminateandanadvisorywillbedisplayedonthe
InfoCenterdisplay,refertoOperatorAdvisoryScreen(page7–13).
