IMPORTANT
Topreventdamagetoelectricalharness,numerouscabletiesare
usedtosecureharnesstomachinecomponents.Takenoteofall
cabletiesthatareremovedfrommachineduringengineremovalso
thattheycanbeproperlyreplacedduringengineinstallation.
11.Notelocationofcabletiesusedtosecurewireharnesstothemachinefor
assemblypurposes.Disconnectwiresand/orelectricalconnectionsfrom
thefollowingelectricalcomponents:
A.Theenginewireharnessfromthemachinewireharness.
B.Thepositivebatterycablefromtheenginestartermotor.
C.Thenegativebatterycableandwireharnessconnectionattheengine
block(leftsideneartheengineECU)(Figure54).
D.Removeharnessretainerfromforwardenginemountbracketonleftside
ofmachine(Figure54).
