B.Ifnecessarytoalignpulleys,removedrivenpulleyfrombrushshaftand
addorremoveatwasher(s)untildriveanddrivenpulleysarecorrectly
aligned.
C.Ifdrivenpulleywasremovedfromrollerbrushshaft,applyantiseize
lubricanttosplinesofpulleyboreandslidepulleyontoshaft.Installand
tightenangenutuntilpulleyisseatedontoshaftandthentorqueange
nutfrom37to44N∙m(27to33ft-lb).Usea½wrenchonrollerbrush
shaftatstopreventshaftfromrotatingwhentighteningnut.
IMPORTANT
Therollerbrushshaftmustnorcontactthecuttingunitsideplate.
Also,heavybrushcontactontherearrollerwillcausepremature
brushwear.
4.Checkthatbrushisparalleltorearrollerwith1.5mm(0.060”)clearanceto
lightcontactwithrearroller.Ifcontactisincorrect,brushoperationwillbe
adverselyaffected.
5.Installcover(item20).Thereshouldnotbeasetscrewinstalledinthebottom
ofthecover.
6.Lubricategreasettingsonbrushhousingsuntilgreasepurgespastinboard
seals.Wipeexcessgreasefromsealsandttings.
