1.Preparethemachineformaintenance;referto
PreparingforMaintenance(page41).
2.Openthehood;refertoOpeningtheHood(page
41).
3.Checkthetensionofthealternatorbeltby
pressingit(Figure111)midwaybetweenthe
alternatorandthecrankshaftpulleyswith10kg
(22lb)offorce.
Note:Thebeltshoulddeect11mm(7/16
inch).Ifthedeectionisincorrect,proceedto
step4.Ifbelttensioniscorrect,skiptostep7.
