TractionPedal
Thetractionpedal(Figure41)controlstheforward
andreverseoperation.Pressthetopofthepedalto
movethemachineforwardandthebottomtomove
themachinebackward.Groundspeeddependson
howfaryoupressthepedal.Fornoload,maximum
groundspeed,fullypressthepedalwhilethethrottle
isintheFASTposition.
Tostopthemachine,reducefootpressureonthe
tractionpedalandallowittoreturntothecenter
position.

theleverforwardtoselecttheMOWmode,and
backwardtoselecttheTRANSPORTmode.
Note:Thecuttingunitscannotbeloweredwhenthe
mow/transportleverisintheTRANSPORTposition.
Mow-SpeedLimiter
Whenthemow-speedlimiter(Figure41)isipped
up/forwarditlimitsthemowspeedandallowthe
cuttingunitstobeengaged.Eachspaceradjusts
themowingspeedby0.8km/h(0.5mph).Themore
spacersthereareonthetopofthebolt,theslowerthe
machinegoes.Flipthemowspeedlimiterbackward
toallowmaximumtransportspeed.
BrakePedal
Pressthebrakepedal(Figure41)tostopthemachine.
ParkingBrake
Toengagetheparkingbrake,(Figure41)pushdown
onthebrakepedalandpressthetopforwardtolatch
it.Toreleasetheparkingbrake,pressthebrakepedal
untiltheparking-brakelatchretracts.
