MachineswithaKubotagasolineengineuseanelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)
forenginemanagement.TheengineECUalsocommunicateswiththemachine
ToroElectronicController(TEC)andtheoperatorInfoCenterDisplaythrough
themachineCAN-bussystem.Allwireharnesselectricalconnectorsshouldbe
pluggedintotheengineECUbeforethemachinekeyswitchismovedfrom
theOFFpositiontoeithertheON/RUNorSTARTposition.IftheengineECUis
tobedisconnectedforanyreason,ensurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFF
positionwiththekeyremovedforaminimumof30secondsbeforedisconnecting
theengineECU;refertoChapter5:KubotaGasolineEngine(page5–1)for
additionalengineECUinformation.
IMPORTANT
DonotplugorunplugtheengineECUforaperiodof30seconds
afterthemachinekeyswitchisturnedOFF.TheECUmayremain
energizedeventhoughthekeyswitchisOFF.
