IMPORTANT: If a piston (traction) pump failure oc-
curred, refer to Traction Circuit Component Failure
in the General Information section for information
regarding the importance of removing contamina-
tion from the traction circuit.
Three ( 3) styles of traction control assemblies have
been used on Reelmaster 5010 machines. Machines
with a serial number below 310000000 use traction con-
trol components as shown in Fig. 62. Machines with a
serial number from 310000001 to 310999999 include
control components that are shown in Fig. 63. Machines
with a serial number above 3110000001 use control
components that are shown in Fig. 64.
