CAUTION
Allwheelswillbeoffthegroundandrotatingduringthistest.Ensure
thatthemachineissupportedsoitwillnotmoveandaccidentally
falltopreventinjuringanyonenearthemachine.
8.Startengineandrunatidlespeed.Checkforanyhydraulicleakagefrom
testerandhoseconnections.Correctanyleaksbeforeproceeding.
9.Increaseenginespeedtohighidlespeed.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisat
normaloperatingtemperaturebyoperatingthemachineforapproximately
10minutes.
10.Slowlypushtractionpedaltofullyforwardposition.Keeppedalfullypressed
intheforwardposition.
11.Havesecondpersonwatchpressuregaugeontestercarefullywhileslowly
closingtheowcontrolvalveuntil6,900kPa(1,000psi)isobtained.Verify
withaphototacthattheenginespeedisstill3,000rpm.
Note:Ifenginespeedisnot3,000rpmduringthistest,pumpowwillbe
differentthanlistedGPM/LPM.
12.Observeowgauge.Flowindicationshouldbeapproximately98L/minute
(26gallons/minute).
13.Releasetractionpedaltotheneutralposition,openowcontrolvalveon
tester,andshutofftheengine.Recordtestresults.
14.Ifowislessthan87L/minute(23gallons/minute),considerthefollowing:
A.Thetractionpumpswashplateisnotbeingrotatedfully(e.g.,traction
pedallinkagemayneedadjustment,mowspeedlimiterisnotinthe
transportposition).
B.Thepiston(traction)pumpneedstoberepairedorreplacedasnecessary.
C.Makenecessaryrepairsbeforeperformingadditionaltests.
15.Whentestingiscomplete,disconnecttesterandhosekitfrompumptting
andmachinehydraulichose.Reconnecthosetopumptting.
