radialreeldesignshavebladesthatareplacedinlinewiththecenterofthereel
shaft.Therearofthebladeseitherhaveascallopedrelieforataperedrelief.The
forwardsweptreelhavebladesthathaveaslightforwardslant.Therearofthe
forwardsweptreelbladeshaveataperedrelief.Beforegrindingareel,ensureto
identifythetypeofreeldesigntoensurethatthegrindingiscorrectlydone.
Beforegrindingacuttingreel,ensurethatallthecuttingunitcomponentsare
ingoodcondition.Dependingonthetypeofgrinderused,damagedcutting
unitcomponentscanaffectgrindingresults.Whengrinding,becarefultonot
overheatthecuttingreelblades.Removesmallamountsofmaterialwitheach
passofthegrinder.
