uid;refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page

4.Cleanjunctionofoutletttingingearpump(P4)andhydraulicoutlethose
(Figure104).Disconnecthosefrompumptting.
IMPORTANT
Ensurethattheuidowindicatorarrowontheowgaugeis
showingthattheuidwillowfromthegearpump(P4),throughthe
testerandintothedisconnectedhose.
5.Installtesterwithpressuregaugesandowmeterinseriesbetweengear
pumpttinganddisconnectedhose.Ensurethattheowcontrolvalveon
testerisfullyopen.
6.Ensurethatthetractionpedalisinneutralandtheparkingbrakeisengaged.
7.Startengineandrunatidlespeed.Checkforanyhydraulicleakagefromtest
connectionsandcorrectbeforeproceedingwithtest.
8.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineunderloadforapproximately10minutes.
9.Ensurethattheengineisrunningathighidlespeed(3,000rpm).Usea
tachometertoverifythatenginespeediscorrect.
