RemovingtheEngine(continued)
CAUTION
Onepersonshouldoperatehoistorliftwhileasecondpersonguides
theengineoutofthemachine.
IMPORTANT
Ensuretonotdamagetheengine,fuelhoses,hydrauliclines,
electricalharness,radiator,orotherpartswhileremovingtheengine.
15.Carefullyraiseenginemovingittowardthefrontofthemachineandremove
frommachine.
16.Ifnecessary,removeenginemountbracketsfromengine.
InstallingtheEngine
1.Locatemachineonalevelsurfacewithcuttingunitsloweredandkeyremoved
fromthekeyswitch.Chockwheelstokeepthemachinefrommoving.
2.Ensurethatallpartsremovedfromtheengineduringmaintenanceor
rebuildingareinstalledtoengine.
3.Ifenginemountbracketswereremovedfromtheengine,securebrackets
toenginewithlockwashersandbolts.T orquetheboltsto47to56N∙m
(34to42ft-lb).
4.Connectliftorhoisttotheengineliftbrackets.
CAUTION

theengineoutofthemachine.
IMPORTANT
Ensuretonotdamagetheengine,fuelhoses,hydrauliclines,
electricalharness,radiator,orotherpartswhileremovingtheengine.
5.Carefullylowerenginetothemountssecuredtothemachineframe.Ensure
thatthefastenerholesoftheenginemountbracketsarealignedwiththe
holesintheenginemounts.
6.Insertboltdownthrougheachenginemountbracketandmount.Place
spacer,snubbingwasher,andthenangenuton4bolts.Tightenfasteners
tosecureenginetoenginemounts.
7.Connecthydraulicpumpdriveshafttoengine;refertoHydraulicPump
Driveshaft(page6–159).
8.Connectallwireharnessconnectorstocorrectenginecomponents.
9.Removeplugsinstalledinhosesduringdisassembly.Connectfueland
radiatorhosestotheengine.Securehoseswithhoseclamps.
