Regeneration
1.Ensurethatthemachinehasfuelinthetankfor
thetypeofregenerationyouareperforming:
•ParkedRegeneration:Ensurethatyou
have1/4tankoffuelbeforeperformingthe
parkedregeneration.
•RecoveryRegeneration:Ensurethatyou
have1/2tankoffuelbeforeperformingthe
recoveryregeneration.
2.Movethemachineoutsidetoanareaawayfrom
combustiblematerials.
3.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
4.Ensurethatthetractioncontrolormotion-control
leversareintheNEUTRALposition.
5.Ifapplicable,shutoffthePTO,andlowerthe
cuttingunitsoraccessories.
6.Engagetheparkingbrake.
7.SetthethrottletothelowIDLEposition.
PerformingaParkedorRecovery
Regeneration
CAUTION
Theexhausttemperatureishot(approximately
600°C(1,112°F)duringDPFregeneration.Hot
exhaustgascanharmyouorotherpeople.
•Neveroperatetheengineinanenclosed
area.
•Makesurethattherearenoammable
materialsaroundtheexhaustsystem.
•Nevertouchahotexhaustsystem
component.
•Neverstandnearoraroundtheexhaust
pipeofthemachine.
Important:Thecomputerofthemachinecancels
DPFregenerationifyouincreasetheenginespeed
fromlowidleorreleasetheparkingbrake.
