frommigratingintotheintakewhenyouremove
thelter.
6.Removeandreplacethelter(Figure84).
Note:Donotcleantheusedelementduetothe
possibilityofdamagingtheltermedia.

7.Inspectthenewlterforshippingdamage,
checkingthesealingendofthelterandthe
body.
Important:Donotuseadamagedelement.
8.Insertthenewlterbyapplyingpressuretothe
outerrimoftheelementtoseatitinthecanister.
Important:Donotapplypressuretothe
exiblecenterofthelter.
9.Cleanthedirt-ejectionportlocatedinthe
removablecover.Removetherubberoutlet
valvefromthecover,cleanthecavity,and
replacetheoutletvalve.
10.Installthecoverorientingtherubberoutletvalve
inadownwardposition—betweenapproximately
5o’clockto7o’clockwhenviewedfromtheend.
11.Securethelatches.
