BladeSafety
Awornordamagedbladeorbedknifecanbreak,and
apiececouldbethrowntowardyouorbystanders,
resultinginseriouspersonalinjuryordeath.
•Inspectthebladesandbedknivesperiodicallyfor
excessivewearordamage.
•Usecarewhencheckingtheblades.Weargloves
andusecautionwhenservicingthem.Only
replaceorbacklapthebladesandbedknives;
neverstraightenorweldthem.
•Onmachineswithmultiplecuttingunits,takecare
whenrotatingacuttingunit;itcancausethereels
intheothercuttingunitstorotate.

belightcontactacrossthefulllengthofthereeland

•Ifthereelstalls,shutofftheenginebefore
attemptingtoclearthereel.
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,
lowerthecuttingunits,shutofftheengine,
engagetheparkingbrake,andremovethekey
fromtheignitionswitch.
