Before installing the Attachment Lock, lower all moving parts to the
ground, apply parking brake, turn off engine, and remove key.
1. Assemble the Attachment Lock by sliding the smaller tube into the
larger tube with the dot going in last and the holes aligning with the
lock mechanism. (Figure 1)
2. Some manufacturers may require that one locking arm
be raised to install the Attachment Lock. (Figure 2)
3. Slide the end furthest away from the keyed locking mechanism onto a
locking arm of the machine. (Figure 2)
4. Extend the smaller tube completely or until the appropriate hole
location is found. (Figure 3)
5. Press the locking mechanism button (with key removed) securing the
attachment onto the machine.
Do not operate machine with the Attachment Lock installed!!!
Removal of the Attachment Lock
Before removing the Attachment Lock, be sure all moving parts are
on the ground, the parking brake is set and the machine is not
running.
1. Insert key and turn clockwise releasing locking mechanism.
2. Retract the smaller tube completely within the larger tube.
3. Remove the Attachment Lock from locking arm of the machine.
4. Store properly to allow safe equipment operation.
