Stink Bug Killer
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner
inconsistent with its labeling.
GENERAL INFORMATION: This product provides effective control of
pests in and on buildings and structures and their immediate surround-
ings and on modes of transport. Permitted areas of use: apartment
buildings, homes, and trailers. In the home, cover all food handling
surfaces and cover or remove all food and cooking utensils or wash
thoroughly after treatment. Remove pets and cover fish aquaria before
spraying. Prevent re-entry of dogs and cats into treated area until spray
deposits are dry.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS & RESTRICTIONS: Do not allow adults,
children, or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. Do
not apply directly to sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where
drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can
occur, except as directed by this label.
SURFACE SPRAY APPLICATION: Hold container upright with nozzle
away from you. Press valve down and spray as directed. Spray surface
until slightly wet (at a rate of 4 ounces product to treat approximately
25 square feet of surface area).
CRACK & CREVICE INJECTION: Hold container upright and tilt extension
tube to a 90° angle with can and inject into cracks and crevices where
insects may be hiding, living and breeding. Place injection tip 1/2 inch
into cracks, crevices, holes and other small openings where insects may
be a problem. Release a one-second spray per spot. In serious infes-
tations, if possible, place spots approximately 12 inches apart. In light
infestations or for preventative treatment, place spots approximately
three feet apart. In long running cracks, move the injector tip along the
crack while spraying. Move at the rate of one linear foot per second in
heavy infestations and three feet per second in light infestation. See the
additional directions above for effective control of specified insects.
STINK BUGS, ASIAN LADY BEETLES, BOXELDER BUGS: Apply as a
spot or crack and crevice treatment. Apply thoroughly to all areas where
these pests crawl and hide, especially in cracks and crevices, and hidden
surfaces around sinks and storage areas, behind baseboards, around
doors and windows, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks
and stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers, bookcases and in similar
areas.
CARPENTER ANTS: For effective control, locate and treat nests and
surrounding areas. Apply around doors and windows and other places
where ants enter premises and where they crawl and hide. Inject into
wall voids and infested wood through existing openings or newly drilled
small holes.
PESTS ON OUTSIDE SURFACES OF BUILDINGS: For control of building
infestation due to Stink Bugs, Ants, Asian Lady Beetles, Clover Mites,
Crickets, Earwigs, Millipedes and Sowbugs (Pillbugs). Spray foun-
dation of building where insects are active and may find entrance up to
a height of 2 to 3 feet. Apply as a residual spray to outside surfaces of
buildings where insects tend to congregate. Spray areas include screens,
window frames, eaves, porches, patios, garages and refuse dumps.
APPLICATION RESTRICTIONS FOR OUTDOOR USE: Do not water the
treated area to the point of run-off. Do not make applications during rain.
All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice
treatments only, except for the following permitted uses: (1) Treatment
to soil or vegetation around structures; (2) Applications to building
foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 feet. Other than applications
to building foundations, all outdoor applications to impervious surfaces
such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces
(such as windows, doors, and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-
and-crevice applications only. Not for use in outdoor residential misting
systems.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal.
STORAGE: Do not store near heat or open flame. Store in cool dry area
away from children.
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL AND CONTAINER HANDLING: Do not puncture
or incinerate! If empty: Offer for recycling if available or place in trash. If
partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
CAUTION: Avoid contact with skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with
soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash
clothing before reuse.
FIRST AID: IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING:
• Take off contaminated clothing.
• Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 – 20 minutes.
• Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control
center or doctor, or going for treatment.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This pesticide is extremely toxic to aquatic
organisms, including fish and invertebrates. To protect the environment,
do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditch-
es, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when
rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or
rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. This pesticide
is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or
weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or
weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS: Contents under pressure. Do
not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate
container. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F may cause bursting. Do
not use this product in or on electrical equipment due to the possibility of
shock hazard. Do not use on surfaces that can be harmed or stained by
water.
