Section 2 Evaluating Color Multifunction Printers OVERVIEW While the benefits of adding color capabilities to your office are easy to see, evaluating color MFPs can be more challenging. Based on years of experience and research into the real-world needs of color MFP users, Xerox has identified some key issues for you to consider as you conduct your evaluations.

It features copy speeds of up to 20 ppm for black-and-white and 7 ppm for color — plenty of power to handle your daily office copying needs and occasional color requirements. The 50-sheet ADF eases the processing of your multipage copy jobs, while the platen glass will handle page sizes of up to 8.

It utilizes a 33.06 Kbps fax modem, 4 MB of dedicated fax memory, and a set of advanced features to support your fax workloads. In addition to traditional walk-up fax, the Phaser 6180MFP also supports LAN fax for transmitting digital files directly from your computer — saving time and the need to print an original before faxing.
