P200
For Contact Insertion
into PC Boards
The P 200 is a fully automatic bench ma-
chine which accurately positions manu-
ally loaded PCBs underneath an insertion
head. The tool may be a solder head, a
camera for automatic inspection, or an
insertion head for the application of AMP
products.
Insertion tools for AMP products are com-
posed of an insertion head (upper tool-
ing), an anvil (lower tooling) and a product
feeding mechanism.These tools are prod-
uct specific and the PCB holder is design-
ed according to the customer application.
A rotary insertion finger allows the inser-
tion of pins in different orientations.
Because of a simple mechanical and elec-
trical interface, other tools can easily be
integrated into the machine.
The excellent performance of a multi-task-
ing control system allows easy programm-
ing and operation of the machine.

Für automatische
Platinenbestückung
Die P 200 ist eine vollautomatische Tisch-
maschine, mit der sich Leiterplatten zum
Einsetzen von AMP-Kontakten präzise un-
ter einem eingebauten Werkzeug positio-
nieren lassen.
Die Leiterplatten-Aufnahme ist den ent-
sprechenden kundenspezifischen Anwen-
dungen angepaßt. Die Werkzeuge sind
produktspezifisch konstruiert und lassen
sich mittels der einfachen mechanischen
und elektrischen Schnittstelle leicht in die
Maschine einbauen.
Der drehbare Setzfinger ermöglicht es, die
Kontakte in unterschiedlichen Winkeln in
die Leiterplatte einzusetzen.
Mit dem leistungsfähigen Multi-Tasking-
System werden Programmierung und Be-
dienung der Maschine leicht gemacht.
Eine komfortable Bedienerführung über
Folientastatur und LCD-Display zeichnen
die X/Y-Einsetz-Maschine aus.
