IDC (Insulation Displacement Technique)

Insulation displacement connector systems (IDC) need special

tooling for wire termination.

For low, medium and large volume production all your individual

requirments are met by a broad range of specialised tools made

by Tyco Electronics: Hand tools, hand operated lever presses,

semi-automatic machines and IDC workstations.

IDC connectors with different pitches, IDC connectors with

family seals, CAN-Bus connectors, AMP-LATCH connectors

and many other IDC connector systems are covered by our

tooling.
