Magnet Wire Equipment

Magnet wires are terminated by insulation displacement

terminals, like MAG-MATE and SIAMEZE as well as AMPLIVAR

terminals. Tyco Electronics offers the full range of product

termination tools for these terminals:

• AMPLIVAR product terminators – designed for parallel and

end-connections of splices or contacts

• MPT-5 machines – designed for insertion of MAG-MATE

terminals

• MPT-5S/L – designed for insertion of SIAMEZE terminals

into customer-designed cavities of wire coils

• LPT-522 magnet wire termination machine – designed

for high volume termination of MAG-MATE and SIAMEZE

terminals

• Pneumatic Insertion Heads- designed for use in P200 / P300

insertion machines and integration into manufacturing lines

In addition to the termination machines for reeled terminals we

also offer loose-piece terminators for prototyping and entry level

applications.
