This SMD connector version
is designed for standard
reflow and infrared solder
processes (“FULL SMD”).
Polarization is accom-
plished by the housing,
therefor no polarization
holes in the PC Board are
required.
The contact is designed with
an additional spring to com-
pensate for differences in
thermal expansion between
housing and PCB. Due to
this feature, tension on
solder joints is prevented.
