Product Facts
The 0.79 x 1.57mm interconnection system has been an industry standard for over 30 years. It is a rugged large scale system for board-to-board and
wire-to-board connection in applications such as power supplies, industrial control and switchgear.
MOD I Receptacles
Cable mount receptacle housings accept crimp contacts with a wire size range from 17-22AWG (0.32-1.00mm
2
) and with a variety of plating options.
Contacts are available in both reeled and loose piece format to suit different manufacturing requirements and volumes. Unhoused pcb receptacle contacts
provide a simple board-to-board solution with MOD I unshrouded headers.
MOD I Headers
Pcb mount headers are provided in both shrouded and unshrouded versions. Shrouded headers are available in both straight and right angle variants with
built-in polarisation when used with MOD I cable mount receptacles. Unshrouded pcb headers are offered for straight pcb mounting. Tin or gold plated
contacts are available for both styles.
MOD I Shunt Connectors
The shunt connector is the easiest form of programming, allowing simple and flexible electrical connection. Supplied in strips they can be broken off as
required. The open top design allows the use of a test probe while located in-circuit.
