9.1.2 New SMS
To compose and send an SMS, select “New SMS”, then enter text. You
can select “Add recipient” to add one recipient from the directory or
enter a phone number directly. Select “Add sound” to attach a melody,
“Add graphic” to attach an image or an animation, “Input Language”
to change the language for typing.
9.1.3 New MMS
When you select “New MMS”, you are first asked to enter the contact
to whom you wish to send MMS. You can select one or more existing
contacts or enter a new mobile phone number or a new email address.
Then you will be asked to “Add media”. You can add a Picture, add
Text, add Sound, Send the message or access the MMS options. Use or
to move from one option to the next and press or the left softkey
to access the menu.

Send • Send MMS to selected recipient(s).
Following options are available when creating new MMS message:
Add slide • Create a new slide and add it to your slide
show.
Edit subject • Edit and change or enter the subject of your
message.
Next slide • Move to the next/previous slide.
Delete slide • Delete selected page.

You can create, send, receive, view, edit, and organize SMS, MMS and e-
mail messages. You can also receive data, service messages and broadcast
messages

9.1 Create message
9.1.1 New e-mail
You can send emails to one or several recipients at a time, including with
an attachment such as a JPEG picture.
Add contacts • Select the recipient(s) of your e-mail, provided
that you have entered e-mail addresses for
contacts saved in directory.
Add media • Design your message. Enter the subject and
text, then press left softkey to access following
options:
- Add sound or Add graphic: attach a sound or
a picture to your e-mail,
- Send now: send it to the selected recipient(s),
- Modify: redesign your e-mail.
You can only attach one picture (JPEG, GIF or BMP) or one
sound at a time. If you accept an incoming call while writing an
e-mail, the menu is closed and the phone goes back to main
screen when you hang up.
