Setting the white balance

You can set the white balance to suit the lighting conditions.

1. Press the MENU button to open the

screen.

2. Use the Pointing Stick to select the

REC OPTION

menu item, and

press the center of the Pointing Stick to open the

REC Option

screen.

3. Press 5 and b to select the WHITE BALANCE item, and then press the

center or t.

4. Press 5 and b to select one of the following settings.

Icon Setting Description

AUTO (default) Adjusts automatically according to the

situation

BLUB LIGHT Use for white bulb lighting

FL LIGHT Use for daytime white uorescent lighting

STAGE LIGHT Use for stage and similar lighting

SUNLIGHT Use outdoors in clear weather

CLOUDY Use outdoors in cloudy weather

The icon for the selected white balance setting appears at the top of the

screen.

5. After completing the setting, press the F3/HOME button to open the

Home Screen.
