VCR functions
This feature allows you to set the
recording length simply by pressing
[REC/OTR] (VCR) on the remote
control or [VCR RECORD] on
the front panel of the unit.

During normal recording, hit
[REC/OTR] to begin one-
touch Timer Recording°
You can select a fixed recording
time by hitting [RECIOTR]
repeatedly,
When one-touch Timer
Recording is finished, the unit
will turn off automatically.
To change the recording length
Recording, hit [RECIOTR] repeat-
edly until the desired length appear.
To cancel the one-touch Timer
Recording within the specified
time, hit [STOP 1].

Recording. Hit [DISPLAY] to
see it on theTV screen.
• You cannot pa_se a one-
to_ch Timer Recording.
° if OTR is finished inVCR during play-
back or REC mode in DVD, EheVCR
will be in STOP mode and the DVD
keeps the current mode.
• UnlikeaTimer Recording,you can
perform the followingoperationsdur-
inga one-_ouchTimer Recording.
- Turning the power off
- Using [REC!OTR] or
[STOP @].
• When OTR is finished and the
power is turned off, the unit will
switch to the standby mode
automatically if aTimer
Recording has been pro-
grammed. Hit [ToSET] to can-
cel the standby mode for using
the unit continuously.

Index search
An index marl< will be assigned at
the beginning of each recording
you make.You may skip to a specif-
ic marked point by following the
steps below.
First:
Hit [SEARCH:] so that the
index search men_ appears.

Using the _umber buttons,
e_ter the _umber of record=
ings you wish to skip with in
3_ seconds.

Press [_/@@:] to start
index search.
If you want to go in the forward
If you want to go in the reverse
direction, hit [_[_l:].
After index search, theVCR will
play the videotape automatically.
