Assembly 1 Preparing media shelf and base assembly NOTE: Do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make the assembly easier. □ □ 2 Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assemble the unit on a carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratches.
Assembly (continued) 3 Attaching middle crossbar NOTE: Refer to the cam lock assembling guide drawings in this step for further clarification on how to properly install cam locks. Apply this method whenever instructed to install cam locks. □ 4 □ Attach the middle crossbar (Z) to the media shelf (L) by engaging three cam locks (DD). Attaching rear skirting Attach rear skirting (N) between the side skirtings (P and Q) by engaging two cam locks (DD).
Assembly (continued) 5 □ 6 □ Attaching front skirting Align and attach the front skirting (O) to both side skirtings (P and Q) using two cam locks (DD). Assembly (continued) 7 □ 8 □ □ Preparing bottom panel assembly Securely screw four cam bolts (EE) into the designated small holes on the top of bottom panel (M) using a Phillips screwdriver. Attaching middle trims Glue two short wood dowels (BB) into the inner holes on each middle trim (C1). Fasten the middle trims (C1) to the lower partition panels (W and X) respectively, using two medium flat head screws (GG) per trim.

Assembly (continued) 11 □ Using the wood dowels as a guide, firmly press the assembled lower partition panels (W and X) to the bottom panel (M) and fasten them in place with four long flat head screws (HH). 12 □ Attaching lower partition panels Attaching media shelf Place the media shelf (L) onto the inserted long wood dowels (CC) on the vertical panels (V, W and X) properly and fasten it in place by engaging eight cam locks (DD).

Assembly (continued) 15 □ Glue the long wood dowels (CC) into the inner holes on the upper front moldings (R), upper side panels (S) and upper partition panel (U) as shown. 16 □ □ □ Gluing wood dowels Combining upper panels with the moldings Attach one upper front molding (R) to one upper side panel (S) by engaging two cam locks (DD) as shown. Complete this step two times to assemble two upper side panels (S).

Assembly (continued) 19 □ Using the pilot holes as a guide, attach the small L-bracket (JJ) at the joints where the middle crossbar (Z) meets the partition panels (W and X) with two short flat head screws (FF) per bracket. 20 □ □ □ Fastening middle crossbar Installing back panels Now, go back and securely tighten all the cam locks and screws. Make sure all the parts are tight and there are no gaps between the parts. This will help keep the unit square.
Assembly (continued) 21 □ □ Extend two door hinges (TT) and rest the hinge cups onto the cutouts of each door (Y). Secure the door hinges (TT) in place by using two nickel screws (SS) in each hinge. Attach one handle (MM) to the front side of each door (Y) with two handle bolts (NN). 22 □ □ □ □ Installing door hinges and handles Attaching door panels Ask for assistance to lift the assembly unit upright and position it near the final location.
Assembly (continued) 23 □ □ Insert four shelf supports (OO) in the holes at the desired height inside each side compartment. Make sure you place the four shelf supports in the same level to make the shelf level. Tilt and rest the adjustable shelves (E1) onto the shelf supports and fasten them in place with the short flat head screws (FF). 24 □ □ Attaching adjustable shelves Attaching paper stickers and rubber bumpers Put the paper stickers (KK) onto the visible cam locks and screws.
Assembly (continued) 25 Attaching upright arms NOTE: Use hand screwdriver, not power driver to assemble fireplace insert. See BILT for video instructions. □ □ □ □ See figure A: Fasten upper 2 screws (AA) through the upright arm (C) into the heater (A) until tight. See figure B: Fasten lower 2 screws (AA) into the upright arm (C) until tight. Fully tighten all 4 screws (AA) one final time. Repeat the same process with upright arm (B).
Assembly (continued) 27 □ □ □ Positioning ember bed Set the ember bed (E) onto the heater (A) as shown. Push ember bed forward against the front flange of heater. Position the USB cable as shown below. E E A A USB cable 28 □ □ □ □ Attaching wall panel Fold the wall panel (H) as shown. Then position yourself at back side of heater (A). Hold wall panel (H) at the angle shown below and insert lower back edge into metal slots on back of heater (A).
Assembly (continued) 29 □ Connecting ember bed cable to heater Fully plug the USB connector of the ember bed (E) into the back port of heater (A). A A E 30 □ Inserting the glass Slide the glass (I) into the inner U-channels on both upright arms (B and C) until the glass sits onto the heater (A). If needed, push top of upright arms in or out to accommodate glass. Make sure the top of the glass (I) is flush with the top of both upright arms (B and C).
Assembly (continued) 31 □ Positioning connector strap Position top connector strap (D) over the glass (I) and upright arms (B and C). Follow orientation shown below. Holes must be in line for screw to pass through.
Assembly (continued) 33 □ The firebox is now ready for the next assemble step. 34 □ □ □ Finishing fireplace insert assembly Installing the fireplace insert Lift the fireplace insert carefully into the back of the assembled mantel and center it on the bottom panel in the opening. Use the pilot holes as a guide, fasten two large L-brackets (QQ) onto the firebox support (A1) with four pan head screws (RR). Make sure that the right angle side is flush with the short edge of firebox support (A1).
Assembly (continued) 35 □ Installing the acrylic stopper Remove the paper backing of acrylic stopper (LL), then properly align the acrylic stopper into the cutout on the acrylic stopper template on the front of the top panel (K). Press down on the acrylic stopper to help adhesion. NOTE: To prevent your TV from tipping, you must install the acrylic TV stopper if you place a flat panel television on the top panel. Otherwise, skip to next step.
Care and Maintenance A touch-up pen has been provided to minimize the small nicks or scratches that may occur during assembly or shipping. To clean and care for your furniture: □ Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting. □ Use of furniture polishes is not necessary. Should you choose to use polishes, test first in an inconspicuous area. □ Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish.
