Assembly 1 Attaching the surround panels to the side panels Locate the Left and Right Side Panels (B and C) and the Left and Right Surround Panels (D and E). BB AA Place the Left Surround Panel (D) one the inside edge of the Left Side Panel (B) as shown in the diagram. Aligning the pre-drilled holes in both panels, insert Bolts (AA) through Flat Washers (BB) and into the predrilled holes.
Assembly (continued) 3 Assembling the fireplace surround Locate the Top Surround Panel (F). Insert the pre-installed wooden dowels on the left and right surround panels into the bottom edge of the Top Surround Panel (F) as shown. F Once the Top Surround Panel (F) is in place, rotate the pre-attached metal brackets to span the joint of the top surround rail and each side surround rail. Secure each bracket with a Screw (CC).
Assembly (continued) 5 Attaching the top panel Place the Top Panel (G) on top of the main assembly while aligning the pre-installed screws with the screw holes. After inserting the screws into the holes, tighten the fasteners from underneath the Top Panel (G) using a Phillips Screwdriver. G 6 Attaching the decorative side panels Locate the Left and Right Decorative Surround Panels (H and I). The Decorative Surround Panels are reversible.
Assembly (continued) 7 Attaching the decorative top panel Locate the Top Decorative Surround Panel (J). Align the pre-installed dowels between the Top Decorative Surround Panel (J) and Decorative Surround Panels (H and I). Be sure that the design of your choice is facing out toward the front of the unit, matching the side panels installed in step 6. Insert Bolts (AA) through Flat Washers (BB) and into the pre-drilled holes.
Assembly (continued) 9 Installing the fireplace insert Lift the Fireplace Insert (K) carefully into the back of the unit and center in the fireplace insert opening. Do not drag the Fireplace Insert (K) across the base as it may scratch your unit. K 10 Securing the fireplace insert Align the Metal Brackets (EE) behind the Fireplace Insert (K) and over the edge of the bottom panel. Assembly (continued) 11 Installing the tip restraint hardware When the Tipping Restraint Hardware (FF) is properly installed, it can provide protection against unexpected tipping of the unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. Wall Each Tipping Restraint Hardware (FF) includes one Unit Anchor, one Wall Anchor, one Anchor Tether, and four Anchor Screws. Use these to complete the following steps for a proper installation. Locate a secure wall stud behind the unit closest to the left side.

Pressing this button will turn on or off the oscillation feature. When on, the louvers will oscillate back and forth to distribute the air flow to a wider area.

Do not use a two-prong adapter. Troubleshooting PROBLEM Fireplace stopped heating before reached desired temperature. ROOT CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION Fireplace has reached set temperature. Temperature around fireplace might be a few degrees higher than other area in the room. Set the fireplace to a higher temperature or always “on”. Display shows " " The thermostat sensor is broken or disconnected. Unplug the fireplace, remove the back panel of the fireplace and check that the thermostat is plugged into the main circuit board.
Troubleshooting (continued) PROBLEM Flame effect works but heater function does not and the emberbed flashes when the Heater button is pressed. ROOT CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION The heater is disabled. With the power on press and hold the Power button on the control panel for 10 seconds. Once re-enabled the emberbed lights will flash multiple times. There are no batteries. Change the remote batteries. The signal is poor. Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace.
