Assembly 1 Assembling the Surround Panels AA Locate the pre-attached metal brackets found on the Upper Front Panel (C) and rotate to span across the edges of the Left Surround Panel (B) and Right Surround Panel (D). Secure each bracket across each joint with a Screw (AA) and Phillips screwdriver.
Assembly (continued) 4 Assembling the Fireplace CC Locate the Front Panel with Control Button (EA). Using Screws (CC), secure the Front Panel with Control Button (EA) inside the inner surround assembly (H, F, and E) as shown. EA F E H 5 Preparing the Center Shelf I Insert bolts (DD) into pre-drilled holes in Center Shelf (I) as shown, but do not tighten all the way. Leave each bolt head about 1/8 in. out from the shelf. 1/8 in.
Assembly (continued) 7 Attaching the Side Panels Locate the Left and Right Side Panels (J and K). Align the Left and Right Side Panels (J and K) with ends of the Center Shelf (I), as shown. Insert the pre-installed dowels and screws on the ends of the Center Shelf (I) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the Left and Right Side Panels (J and K) as shown.
Assembly (continued) 10 Installing the Fireplace Heater Rest the hinges of the Heater Box (EB) on the previously installed mounting bolts. Secure the heater in place by screwing Bolts (DD) through the other side of the hinges on the Heater Box (EB) and into the Center Shelf (I) above. EB DD I 11 Placing the Glass Front Turn the unit over so that Control Panel Support is now facing upward. Locate the Glass Panel (L). Carefully insert the Glass Panel (L) into the grooves of the surround rails as shown.
Assembly (continued) 12 Attaching the Base Locate the Base (A). Align the pre-installed hardware on the edges of the main assembly with the pre-drilled holes on Base (A). Insert Screws (GG) through the Base (A) and into the predrilled holes on the edges of the center assembly as shown. Securely tighten all screws using a Phillips screwdriver. A GG 13 Securing the Main Assembly to the Base Tighten all screws with a Phillips screwdriver as shown.
Assembly (continued) 15 Assembling the Log Set EC ED Place the Log Set Left (EC) into the Ember Bed (EG) as shown. Repeat with the Log Set Right (ED). EG 16 Assembling the Log Set Route the wires of the Log Set Left (EC) and the Log Set Right (ED) down the back of the Ember Bed (EG) and into the receiving tabs to secure in place. Refer to the lower diagram. Gently plug the cords from both the Log Set Left (EC) and the Log Set Right (ED) into the ports as shown. Ensure the cords are plugged in straight.
Assembly (continued) 18 Securing the Log Set Once the log set is in place, secure with Screws (CC) through the bottom of the log set and into the base. CC 19 Placing the Fireplace Back Panel Locate the Fireplace Back Panel (M). Slightly fold the Fireplace Back Panel (M) with the taped corners facing the rear of the cabinet and fit into the back of the fireplace. Note that the ember bed connection wire must be pulled through the back panel cutout.
Assembly (continued) 21 Connecting the Fireplace Wiring Connect Key Button Connection Wire to heater. Insert the Ember Bed Connection Wire into the heater. Key Button Connection Wire Ember Bed Connection Wire Route the Ember Bed Connection Wire down the side surround rail and along the back of the log set, securing it in place with the clips as shown. 22 Securing the Fireplace Wiring Use the two wire clips previously installed on the Center Shelf (I) to fasten the fireplace wiring as shown.
Assembly (continued) 23 Installing the Tipping Restraint Hardware When the Tipping Restraint Hardware (JJ) is properly installed, it can provide protection against unexpected tipping of the unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. Each Tipping Restraint Hardware (JJ) includes one Unit Anchor, one Wall Anchor, one Anchor Tether, and four Anchor Screws. Use these to complete the following steps for a proper installation. Locate a secure wall stud behind the unit closest to the left side.
