FAN USE AND CARE
Check for damaged parts before each use. Carefully check that the fan will operate properly and
perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn parts immediately. Never operate the fan
with a damaged part.
Do not use a fan with a malfunctioning switch. Any fan that cannot be controlled with the power
switch is dangerous and must be repaired by an authorized service representative before using.
Disconnect the power from the fan and place the switch in the locked or off position before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the fan. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the fan accidentally.
Store the fan when it is not in use. Store it in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children.
Inspect the fan for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
Keep guards in place and in working order. Never operate the fan without the guards in place.
Do not leave the fan running unattended.
Specific Operation Warnings
Electric shock hazard. Do not expose to water or rain.
Be sure equipment is properly grounded.
Use only outdoor-rated extension cords of proper size.
Do not use this product with any solid-state speed control device.
Rotating Blade Hazard. Can cause serious injury or cut. Keep hands clear.
DO NOT operate without guards in place.
Turn power OFF before servicing.
This fan is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the fan by a person responsible for their safety. Supervise
children to ensure they do not play with the fan.
Not for use by or around children.
