HARDWARE IDENTIFICATION CHART This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the assembly process. Place the washers or the ends of the bolts or screws on the circles to check for the correct diameter. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Read each step carefully before beginning. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 4 Attach the SEAT(12) to the SEAT POST(3) with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x20mm)(77) and WASHERS(M8)(62). Insert the SEAT POST(3) into the MAIN FRAME(1) and secure with the ADJUSTMENT KNOB(15). NOTE: Make sure that the pin on the ADJUSTMENT KNOB(15) is inserted into one of the holes in the SEAT POST(3). The ADJUSTMENT KNOB(15) should be screwed in tight to make the SEAT POST(3) fit securely in the MAIN FRAME(1).
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 8 Refer to illustration 1. Screw the SOCKET HEAD BOLT(M6x1x12mm)(108) into the inner side of the LEFT RESISTANCE ARM(99). STEP 9 Assemble the RESISTANCE ARMS(99, 100) by attaching the ARM BRACKET(6) to the BACK FRAME(4) with SOCKET HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(94) and LOCK WASHERS(M8)(88). Screw the ADJUSTMENT PIN(97) into the ARM BRACKET(6), and make sure the pin is inserted into one of the adjustment holes in the RIGHT RESISTANCE ARMS(100).
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 10 NOTE: The RIGHT PEDAL(32) has R stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The RIGHT PEDAL(32) has right hand threads and is tightened by turning clockwise. The LEFT PEDAL(31) has L stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The LEFT PEDAL(31) has left hand threads and is tightened by turning counterclockwise. Thread the RIGHT PEDAL(32) to the RIGHT CRANK(34) as shown. Tighten the pedal securely.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS Place the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike in the area where it will be used. It is recommended that the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike be placed on an equipment mat. The maximum operation dimensions of the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike are approximately 41.8 inches long x 50.2 inches wide x 53.5 inches tall. (These dimensions may vary up to one inch.) An area 6 feet wide x 6 feet long is required for safe operation of the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike.
OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS USING THE FITNESS METER POWER ON : Pedal movement or press the button. POWER OFF : Automatically shuts off after four minutes of inactivity. R AL O E D M O Press to select display functions, including SCAN, TIME, SPEED, DISTANCE, and CALORIE. Press and hold for three seconds to reset all functions to zero.
OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS LOAD ADJUSTMENT To increase the load, turn the TENSION KNOB(30) clockwise. To decrease the load, turn the TENSION KNOB(30) counterclockwise. SEAT ADJUSTMENT Proper seat adjustment is important. 1. Remove the ADJUSTMENT KNOB(15) from the MAIN FRAME(1). Slide the SEAT POST(3) until the SEAT(12) is at the proper height. Screw the ADJUSTMENT KNOB(15) back the MAIN FRAME(1).
STORAGE 1. To store the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike, simply keep it in a clean dry place. 2. To avoid damage to the electronics, remove the batteries before storing the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike for one year or more. 3. To move the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike, lift the FRONT STABILIZER(7) and use the MOVING WHEELS(101) on the REAR STABILIZER(106). 4. The minimum folded dimensions of the Stamina® Wonder Exercise Bike are approximately 20 inches long x 29.8 inches wide x 66.5 inches tall.
MAINTENANCE TENSION CORD ADJUSTMENT Over time, the TENSION CORDS(98) may stretch. Follow this process to maintain resistance: 1. 2. C A B 3. 1. Pull the TENSION CORD(98) away from the pulley slightly. Slide down the COVER(98A) as shown in View 1. 2. Refer to View 2 to adjust the ADJUSTMENT DISK(98B) down 0.75 inches. 3. Push the COVER(98A) back to the ADJUSTMENT DISK(98B) as shown in View 3. Repeat on the other TENSION CORD(98).
CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years or are severely overweight, start slowly and increase your workout time gradually. Increase your workout intensity gradually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise. Remember to follow these essentials: Have your doctor review your training and diet programs. Begin your training program slowly with realistic goals that have been set by you and your physician.
WARM-UP and COOL-DOWN Warm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body for exercise and to minimize injuries. Warm up for two to five minutes before strength training or aerobic exercising. Perform activities that raise your heart rate and warm the working muscles. Activities may include brisk walking, jogging, jumping jacks, jump rope, and running in place.
