Troubleshooting

If you use partitioned USB device, only MP3, WMA
and AAC tracks on the first partition can be played.

Playback is possible up to 8 levels.

The number of folders on the USB device has
exceeded 1,000.

The number of tracks on the USB device has
exceeded 3,000.

Files that are encrypted or protected by passwords,
etc. cannot be played back.
Play Timer
“Set the clock first. appears.

If the clock on the unit has not been set, you cannot
set the Play Timer. Set the clock before setting the
Play Timer (page 23).
“Start and end times cannot be the same.
appears.

The ending time for the Play Timer cannot be the
same as the starting time.
Play Timer setting does not function when the
starting time is reached. Play Timer setting does
not end when the ending time is reached.

A power failure occurred while the timer setting
was in standby mode or the power cord was
disconnected.

The unit is being subjected to shocks or vibrations.
Place the unit at a stable location.
Others
The unit works poorly.

The unit may be under the influence of static
electricity or other factors. In this case, restart the
unit. If the unit still works poorly, reset the unit
(page 62).

If any warning message appears, do as the message
says.
The unit does not respond to any operations. The
unit does not work correctly.

The units internal system may be malfunctioning, or
the unit may be suffering from strong electrical noise
caused by power supply abnormalities due to being
dropped, excessive static electricity, or lightning.
In this case, disconnect the power cord of the main
unit and the remote control charger, wait about 30
seconds, and then reconnect them.
To reset the user-configured settings
This process clears all user-configured settings
and information (e.g., preset radio stations, clock
setting and network settings) to the factory default.

Disconnect and reconnect the power
cord of the main unit, and then turn on
the unit.

Select [Settings] from the Home menu.

Select [Common Setting] – [System
Reset].
“Restore all settings to the factory default and
reboot.” appears in the display.

Select [OK].
The system settings are reset.
All user-configured settings, such as preset
radio stations, timer settings, or the clock
settings are deleted.
To cancel the resetting procedure
Select [Cancel] in step 4.
Note
You should never turn off the unit or disconnect the
power cord during the resetting of the system.
