To select the method how the time code is recorded in the recording
media (TC Make)
- [Setup] - [ TC/UB] - [TC Make] - desired setting.
Preset: Records the newly set time code on the recording media.
Regenerate: Reads the last time code of the previous recording from the recording media
and records the new time code sequentially from the last time code.
Note
Settings for the time code/user bit cannot be set when [Shooting Mode] is set to [Photo]
or [Time-lapse Capture].
[TC Run] of the time code/user bit is fixed to [Rec Run], during [Smth Slw REC] or [Golf
Shot].
[TC Format] is fixed to [NDF] (non-drop frame method) when [ Frame Rate is set to
[24p].
The time code or user bit are not recorded on MP4 movies recorded simultaneously when
[Dual Video REC]] is set to [On].

TV Type
You need to convert the signal depending on the horizontal to vertical ratio of the TV
connected.
1. - [Setup] - [ Connection] - [TV Type] - desired setting.
Descriptions of menu items
16:9:
Select this to view your movies on a 16:9 (wide) TV.
A: Images recorded in 16:9 (wide) mode
B: Images recorded in 4:3 mode
4:3:
Select this to view your movies and photos on a 4:3 standard TV.
