• Thisdeviceusesmainsvoltage.Therefore,thesamesafety
regulations apply as for any other electric device:
 •Operate the device only with the stated supply voltage
 •Inspect all components of the device for faultless condition
prior to each start-up of the device. In the event of a defect
or malfunction, switch the device off immediately and dis-
connect the power plug from the power network. Repairs
must be performed exclusively by authorized customer ser-
vice technicians. Never open the device. The individual
components of this device may not be disassembled, repai-
red or modified.
 • Use the device only in dry rooms and with
a dry body – never in the bathtub, shower,
above filled sinks, in pools, saunas, or outdoors.
• Never operate the device in the close vicinity of heat sources.
 •Do not pull the power cord across sharp edges.
 •Do not pull on the cord or the device in order to disconnect
the power plug or to transport the device.
 •Disconnect the power plug if the device is not in use.
