Flexibility with regard

The modular installation system from

Siemens comes with the proven sensor

and actuator modules for the AP 641

room automation box and AP 118

automation module box, providing

a comprehensive range of products

for controlling lighting and shading

as well as heating, ventilation and

air conditioning. The new RL 526D23

switching/dimming actuator has now

been added to and expands the light-

ing discipline. The product range

offers devices with identical func-

tionality and identical configuration

options for different types of instal-

lation. This enables the control of

various disciplines via a decentrally

installed Room Control Box or Control

Module Box.

The new dual RL 526D23 switching/

dimming actuator module

The existing range of the modular

installation system has a new module:

the dual switching/dimming actuator.

It is used to switch and dim the lights

and makes your decentralized room

automation functions even more

flexible and efficient.

The new type has a 1 to 10 volt con-

trol output (passive) for controlling

fluorescent lamps via dimmable

electronic control gear and also LEDs

via LED drivers. Dimmable electronic

control gear with 1 to 10 V interfaces

are a simple and cost-effective solu-

tion for implementing light moods

and saving energy through lighting.

Comprehensive control functions

for optimum lighting, and thus for

a pleasant ambiance in the room,

have been added to our modular

installation concept. They are espe-

cially suitable for use in functional

buildings, such as offices, halls,

schools, and logistics centers.

Straightforward integration

and installation

The sensors and actuators of the

modular installation system from

Siemens are fully compatible KNX

devices. The electronics are powered

with the bus voltage and connected

via maintenance-free terminals.
