ADDENDUM TO
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Model FS-DACT
Serial Digital Alarm Communication Transmitter (DACT)
This addendum contains information regarding the installation of the FS-DACT in Canada.
1. This product meets the applicable Industry Canada technical specifications.
2. For Canadian installations, use the RJ11 jack in place of the RJ31X shown in the FS-DACT
instructions (See below). The RJ11 provides a convenient connection allowing the DACT to
be installed and removed without requiring rewiring and can be installed by the telephone
installer. Direct connection is also allowed.
