INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Model FS-NPE
Additional Transformer
The FS-NPE Additional Transformer is an optional module for the FS-250 and FS-250C Fire
Alarm
Control Panels. The FS-NPE provides an additional 3.0 Amps of current to the NACs of the
FS-250
and FS-250C Fire Alarm Control Panels . The FS-NPE mounts above the standard
transformer(s).

1.) Installation is to be done by qualified
personnel who have thoroughly read
and understood this instruction sheet.
2.) Disconnect BATTERY and AC prior to
working on equipment.
3.) Place the transformer assembly over
the upper pair of studs on the left side
of the enclosure.
4.) Tighten transformer-mounting nuts.
5.) Plug the transformer assembly into
connector J3 on the Main Termination
Board. Be careful to align header on
the transformer with the pins on the
Main Termination Board.
6.) Apply power to system.
7.) Check for proper operation.
