I f you want I nt ernet user s t o access t he internal server
via t he router such as: e- m ail server, Web, FTP. You can
configure the “Virt ua l Server” .
St e p 1 : creat e your int ernal server, m ake sure the LAN
users can access t hese ser vers and know related ser vice
port. For exam ple, Web server’s port is 80; FTP is 21;
SMTP is 25 and POP3 is 110.
St e p 2 : I n the router ’s web click “ V irt ual Ser ver” and
select “ Port Ra nge For w a rding” .
St e p 3 : I nput t he ser vice port provided by the rout er
( i.e. t he ext ernal port ) for m apping t he internal and
ext ernal net work, for exam ple, 80- 80.
St e p 4 : input t he int ernal Web service port , for exam ple,
80- 80.
St e p 5 : I nput t he int ernal server ’s I P address. For
exam ple, if your Web server ’s I P address is
192.168.0.10, please input it.
St e p 6 : select t he com m unicat ion protocol used by your
i n t e r n a l h o s t : T C P, U D P, B o t h .
St e p 7 : click “ Ok” to act ivat e t he sett ings.
