Install a new staple cartridge.
Push the staple case in until it clicks into place.
Do not remove the seal from the cartridge before inserting the cartridge into the case.

Push the staple case firmly back in.

Pull the seal that holds the staples
straight out.

Install the staple case.
(1) Push the staple case in until it clicks into
place.
(2) Grasp the green part and push in.
