Supplemental Instructions

Updater

“Updater” has been added to this monitor.

Update applications that are factory-installed in APPLICATION mode. (A network environment that allows access to the internet is

required.)

Touch

in the home screen of APPLICATION mode and touch .

The first time you start the Updater, a region selection screen will appear. Select your region.

The “Export Law Assurances” appears. Select “OK”.

To use the software distributed by the Updater, you must agree to the “Export Law Assurances”.

The first time you start the Updater, confirmation screen to allow access will appear. Select “Allow” all.

1. Information area

Shows information on already downloaded software and software that can be downloaded.

Update notification: Displayed when “Notify new versions” is enabled. Update of software that unchecked will not be notified.

2. RELOAD

Refresh the information in the information area.

3. DOWNLOAD

Download the selected software.

4. INSTALL

Install the selected software.

5. SETTINGS

Configure settings for Updater.

• Region ..........................................................Select region to be used.

• Hide updated items ......................................Set whether or not to hide updated softwares in the information area.

• Notify new versions ......................................Set whether or not to display a message if updated software exists.

• About Updater ..............................................Display the information of this application.

TIPS

• If you select "Deny" on confirmation screen to allow access, Updater will not start. In this case, perform All Reset and set again on

confirmation screen to allow access.

nTelnet server Telnet server function has been added to this monitor. Your monitor can be connected to a LAN allowing you to control it from a computer on the LAN. The connection requires a commercially available LAN cable (UTP cable, Category 5, straight through). The following items have been added to "Network" menu. Telnet Server Set whether or not to use telnet server function. When using telnet server function for the first time, screens for setting user name and password will appear.
